Meet the doctors

Dr. Matthew Britt hails from Greenville, NC and graduated from Eastern Carolina University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and minor in Chemistry. He continued his studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, acquiring his D.M.D., then reported for active duty as he entered his commitment to the U.S. Navy. He received extensive training in oral surgery, serving as an Exodontist on base at Great Lakes naval recruit training facility in IL then most recently at Camp Lejeune, NC, totaling five years.

A California native, Dr. Sarah Britt graduated from the University of California at Davis with a B.S. in Nutrition Science with a Biochemistry emphasis and swam freestyle for their Division I collegiate team (go Aggies!).  She then continued her studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where she earned her D.M.D. before returning to CA to complete a one-year post-doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program with UCSF-NYU. She was most recently in private practice in Jacksonville, NC.

Drs. Matt and Sarah were thrilled to join then acquire Dr. Jeffrey Cecil’s practice of over 40 years and set up their family dental practice, serving the fine folks of Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and the surrounding areas.

On the weekends, you’ll find Matt and Sarah enjoying the outdoors with their two young children Emma and Kevin.
